Human Practice Foundation (HPF) a Danish NGO has been working in Nepal since 2017 and Kenya since 2018. HPF aims to improve the quality of education, health and livelihood of the rural people of Nepal and other parts of the world.

HPF is looking for a qualified and experienced Nepali candidate with high integrity for the following position:

Position: Education Officer – 1

Duty Station: One of the Rural Municipalities of Taplejung district, Nepal.

Qualification:

• Masters in Education or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in education field related to SMC, PTA strengthening, teaching-learning pedagogy and promoting overall learning of the school children.
• Individuals with a science background with experience in education field will be given high priority.
• The applicant must be a competent user in MS word, excel, PowerPoint, email and internet.

Job Scope:

The job holder is responsible to manage an educational project focused to improve students enrollment, learning achievement and to decrease drop out in one of the Rural Municipalities of Taplejung District. Capacity building efforts aimed at strengthening School Management Committee, teachers, parents and students are key approaches adopted by the project.

Contract Period: Initially until March 2022 with high possibility of extension depending on the satisfactory work performance of the candidates.
